Functioning as an extension of the owner's staff, we monitor all facets of Construction Project Management, including General Construction. Our focus is direct, and we concentrate our resources and expertise on the control of project costs, schedules, and quality.
Costs
Understandably, construction project costs are often the owner's number one concern. Our staff prepares project cost estimates (or reviews existing estimates) to confirm that financial projections are based on current economic conditions and practical solutions. We provide value engineering and constructability review of project designs to minimize construction costs. Services also include project cash flow tracking and forecasting, troubleshooting to identify hidden costs in advance, and monitoring of project variances/change orders.
Scheduling
A master schedule and detailed critical path schedules are used to track progress and minimize delays. Regulatory compliance and permit requirements are identified early to avoid late surprises. Contractor activities are carefully coordinated to avoid conflicts with other contractors and/or facility operations. By keeping a tight rein on project schedules, our team helps the owner avoid potential costly delays.
Quality
We review designs and specifications for general constructability, suitability of specified materials, and adequacy of construction procedures and sequencing. In- depth quality reviews including job safety and code and environmental compliance highlight every project milestone. Our full-time inspection staff monitors design compliance and on-site construction activities to assure the owner of a well-constructed facility with a long service life.
